#3.07 Of National Zoo and Petaling Street

Photobucket

The day started off with me waking up late, resulting in every one having to wait for half an hour to catch another bus. However, with all the camwhores around, we made full use of the time.

About an hour later, we found ourselves walking in a sea of people (okay, it's a little bit exaggerated) in Petaling Street. We're kicked out of Mcd rudely because we packed some Chinese food and there wasn't even pork. I got my favourite Longan drink from Petaling street and the weather was fantastic so I didn't really give a damn about it. If not, I would be pulling my signature charcoal-black face all day long. Later, we went for some "after-lunch exercise" stupidly chasing after a wrong public bus down a few streets with ChangHwa leading everyone else. Okay, maybe only he's stupid. And we followed, which made us fall into the idiot category.

We ended up taking the monorail to some place called only-God-knows-where then we took another bus which stopped directly in front of the gate of National Zoo. We're welcome by the mountainous chunk of shit and the cascading waterfall of urine by Mr.Fugly Matured Jumbo which sent us laughing our asses off. To be frank, that was the most memorable thing that National Zoo could offer. The rest was just plain lame.

Yet, we had too much fun making stupid jokes, gossiping and observing other tourists. Trust me, it was way more fun observing people than the animals. Some dressed like they're going to have a wedding (Hello, it's a zoo missy), others covered like they were in Antarctic cuddling a polar bear while some wore tubes with their assets sagging (not that ChangHwa would mind). It wasn't the place, but the people that made the trip a superb one. =)

We had dinner in Petaling Street again and had two cups of Longans in a day. That was heaven. On the way back to SA, we got a big "Shh.." from some moron for being too noisy and laughing too loud in the bus. Mind you it's a public transport, not your grandfather's Benz for heaven's sake. We got back after more than 12 hours of walking. It was tiring but for what's worth, it was one of the best trips ever organised. Thanks a lot Bookmade.
