#2.22 The Final Dawn

"The dawn that I've been waiting for after Adelaide, I've got it."

Friday night after math test, a few of us went for movie and kk. (Redbox, idiot!) It was superb and miraculously no one scolded us for jumping up and down like crazies on the couch, which was really a good sign to kick off the fantabulous weekend. ^^

On Saturday, Ethan and friends asked me to join them for the Sungei Wang trip, but I declined due to the F*ckin' stupid chem test. (since when I started say "NO" to outings?) until Grams called saying she had checked in Park Royal, which was just beside SW. So, I ended up in SW with Ethan, Vivian and J-C. Grams missed her flight yesterday and reminded me to bring an extra formal attire for the wedding that night.

Okay, something (was) fishy here. How grand a wedding could be for Grams to buy another flight ticket and hello, dress code: formal? It was, but only grander and classier. The next thing I knew was that I was in a room with every one busy dressing up, hair spraying, putting on make-ups, spraying expensive perfumes, choosing elegant evening gowns and finally slipping on high-heels with the help of personal make-up team. Next, every one was socializing in a waiting lounge filled with professional waitress holding trays of delicious starters and glasses of drinks. The most RIDICULOUS thing was that all the ladies in their golden age with evening gowns and scarfs on were busy snapping photos of their own.

Most of the guests were from HK, Australia, Germany and Singapore, speaking impeccable English with different types of accent (lousy Manglish excluded). Aww...Their Aussie accent made me miss Adelaide and friends even more. The wedding ceremony later was nothing but awesome. One of the little girl's name was for-God's-sake Eugenie. I couldn't stop laughing. Who named their daughter Eugenie? Ewww.

One more thing, the bathroom of the hotel room's equipped with telephone and music (for what? emergencies like when you stuck your head in the toilet bowl or you accidentally swallowed your soap caz you thought it's a super big-sized pill?). Most importantly I got to spend some time with Grams. On Sunday, I had Dim Sum with Grams and some relatives in PJ. It was always wonderful to spend time with the one you loved so much, wasn't it? =)

The weekend with Grams and friends, was indeed *take a deep breath* supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! =P

Bye guys.
C ya next fall.
You know you'll miss me.
=)
